What is Maison Margiela?
Maison Margiela is a French luxury fashion house created in 1988 by Belgian designer Martin Margiela and Jenny Meirens.
The Paris-based fashion house produces handcrafted collections inspired by haute couture alongside ready-to-wear lines that include womenswear, menswear, jewellery, footwear, accessories, leather goods, perfumes and homewares.
The house is also known for its avant-garde designs using unconventional materials and live shows in unique venues.
